I stayed here for two nights and found it to be a perfect base for exploring nearby May Hill, which was just over 2 km away, offering stunning views and pleasant walks, and the hospitality was warm and inviting with friendly staff and a nice selection of ales.

Room cleanliness needs serious attention!!! TV outdated and inadequate for modern use!!! Parking is cramped and difficult to navigate!!! An improvement in soundproofing would elevate guest comfort!!! Some furnishings appear worn and in need of replacement!!!

Breakfast featured exceptional poached eggs, while the evening meal showcased delightful, well-cooked pies with fresh vegetables. Staff were incredibly friendly, genuinely caring ' needs, turning our stay into a cozy experience.

The room was really comfy with a flat-screen TV and a walk-in shower. Enjoyed the heated towel rack and free toiletries. The outdoor courtyard was perfect for a morning coffee. Breakfast had freshly made pastries and the pies for dinner were award-winning. Staff were super welcoming and attentive throughout my stay.
